SODC offers private lessons with any of our staff in any style of dance! Prices are set by the individual instructors and range from $25-35 per half hour. Private lessons are an opportunity to work on specific skills, technique, choreography, or anything else you would like to work on!

The Elite Skating Academy is a proud member of Learn To Skate USA. Our classes are progressive, so each class builds into the next one. As you are learning the foundation of figure skating we will also be educating you with how to become competitive in the sport, work with a private coach, and perform in our local ice shows! Cost is per 30 min lesson(ice time purchased separately)

Lindsay has taught at the String Academy of Wisconsin, UWM, and since 2014 has run Lindsay Marie Cello Studios, teaching students of all ages. Her students are active in MYSO, WSMA, and school ensembles, with many accepted to top programs like UW–Madison, BYU, and UWSP. A certified Suzuki teacher through all 10 books, she tailors lessons to each student while inspiring a love of music.

Niki Cairns, a freelance theater director and teaching artist from Pewaukee, offers beginner to intermediate voice lessons and audition prep. She teaches and directs at The Box Theatre, Lake Country Playhouse, and Waukesha Civic, and has led programs at Divine Redeemer Lutheran and St. Charles Catholic Schools.

I love teaching lessons filled with fun and laughter! You’ll learn to read and play music through games or songs you love. Voice lessons cover vocal anatomy and health, while piano lessons build finger technique. I teach all ages with flexible daytime options (great for homeschool/work-from-home) and limited evenings. Parents can join too—let’s all play, sing, and shine!

I have 20+ years of private teaching experience, in addition to an active performing career. In the studio I focus on music literacy, self-discipline, and sharing music with others. Because I am constantly preparing new material for my own performing, I have the opportunity to bring my own challenges and discoveries to my students.

Music moves me in ways nothing else can; it makes my soul sing. This is why I teach piano. I started my own piano lessons forty years ago, and I began my teaching journey twenty years ago. I teach beginners through late intermediate levels (pre-college), and students who are diverse learners. I can teach all the music entails, but what is most important to me is that my students have fun!
